Chianti conjures up many images, from Anthony Hopkin’s enigmatic portrayal of Hannibal Lecter to a fiasco, straw-wrapped bottle, atop a red and white checkered plastic table cloth in an Italian restaurant.
As Burgundy prices continue to rise, Bourgogne Wines continues seeking ways to delineate terroir-driven quality wines at more affordable price points.
The feature I wrote for the Feb/March edition of Wine Enthusiast Magazine, "Down In the Dirt," is now digitally available.
Saturday before snowmaggedon began in Texas, we enjoyed a delicious shoebox lunch from Dallas’s Smokey John’s BBQ.
We ended our crazy Texas week on a high note, with a bottle of Eden cider and chicken tacos.
