Continuing my “Literary Summer,” here is the second in my “live blog” of Herman Wouk’s 1971 novel The Winds of War, which I’m rereading and thought I would share my thoughts on, if anyone’s interested. Since there was a great response to my first article, I guess there must be! Tonight, however, while there will be wine in tonight’s article, I went a little off the reservation and picked my own, as opposed to following one of the fantastic suggestions from Michelle Williams of the RockinRed Blog (who is also giving me wine suggestions for my series on Mysterious Tales of the New England Coast). However, I’m not flying totally solo.
