2015 Cline Cashmere Black Magic Red Blend California

Crafted from a blend of Petite Sirah, Zinfandel, Carignane, Alicante Bouschet, Mourvèdre, Syrah, and Grenache.

This wine poured a deep ruby in the glass. It offers pronounced aromas of baked red and black berries mingle with candied violets, chocolate, cinnamon, anise, licorice, chocolate, leather, smoke, damp underbrush, and trailing vanilla. Lush and bold on the palate. Crushed velvet mouth-feel, it contains pronounced tannins that are youthful yet integrated, medium+ acidity, and pronounced flavor intensity layers the palate, full body, 15% ABV, long, bold finish.

Individual grapes were harvested separately according to ripeness levels and acidity. Fermentation took place in stainless steel with native yeast, matured in 30% new French oak with dark toast for eight months.
